Abstract:

Today, technologies based on IoT are growing in many industrial areas. One of the most Fundamental technologies in IoT DEVICEs is RFID industry that has been widespread in many other fields of technology. RFID tags are used from supply chain to security issues and electronic passports. Cellular phones can play a significant role in the area of mobile advertising and they can operate as advertisement receivers from RFID tags that have been installed on objects in the environment. However, due to lower costs of this new advertising technology, advertisements in this channel will be more widespread; and then we would have a new portal for spams. The purpose of this article is suggesting a framework for advertising to smart mobile DEVICEs on IoT while preventing spam in ad-box. Framework and protocols expressed in this article have introduced a new generation of Mobile Advertising for which we call “ Intelligent Mobile Advertising” or IM-Advertising. Unlike other spam prevention solutions that are used in other portals such as e-mail, our solution will power Ads and also it captures customer attention in an intelligent style. The Customer will only receive the ads which he specified, by type and benefits, and other ads will not enter his smart mobile system as spams. Also our suggested solution would not need any spam detection system and it is based on a fully legal framework. It makes our customer interested and at the same time collects valuable marketing information.

Abstract:

Introduction: RADIO-FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION (RFID) can increase the quality of healthcare and improve patient safety by collecting information, automatically identifying patients, tracking patient movements and hospital equipment. However, successful implementation and adoption of this technology face several barriers. The objective of this study was to identify and prioritize the potential challenges of implementing RFID in hospitals. Methods: This study was conducted on all information technology administrators and managers of educational hospitals in Kerman (n=43). Data were collected through a valid and reliable (α, =0. 94) questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of two sections with 33 questions (4 questions for demographic information and 29 questions for implementation barriers). T-test and one-way ANOVA were used to examine the relationship between the barriers and demographic information. Results: Financial (3. 67), managerial-specialized (3. 40) and attitudinal-behavioral (3. 36) barriers had the highest means among the RFID implementation barriers, respectively. Age, gender, work experience, and organizational position had no effect on the prioritization of barriers (P<0. 05). Conclusion: Failure to finance RFID implementation project, spending a lot of time and money to train RFID users, and unfamiliarity of users with RFID created the most problems in implementing this technology, respectively. Therefore, making short and long-term policies to address these barriers are recommended. Hospital managers can overcome implementation barriers by making decisions based on a detailed and transparent analysis of return on investment, allocating funds to implementation projects, and careful planning for user training to improve their awareness and technical knowledge.

Abstract:

RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION (RFID) has many advantages in the field of large-scale IDENTIFICATION, including speed increase and cost reduction. For this reason, this system has many applications in the modern world and can be used as an essential tool for improving human life. Since this technology faces serious challenges in the field of security and privacy, its applications has been limited due to security concerns and delays in standardization. Given the widespread use of RFID technology in large-scale systems, and importance of privacy in these systems, this article introduces a mutual anonymous private authentication protocol (MAPAP); a protocol which adds privacy and scalability features to a mutual authentication protocol. In this new protocol the privacy is measured using the information leakage criterion and it is seen that the amount of information disclosed by this protocol when compromised is significantly less than group-based authentication. In a system with 220 tags, with the increase in the number of compromised tags, the difference in information leakage between this protocol and the group-based authentication protocol increases, such that, when the number of compromised tags in this system reaches 150, information disclosed by the proposed protocol is about 65 percent less than group-based authentication and this difference increases with increasing system size.

Abstract:

Background: Trigeminal neuralgia is one of the most painful conditions in the head and face. This study was carried out to evaluate the effects and results of RF therapy on patients with trigeminal neuralgia who referred to Amir-alam Hospital. Materials and Methods: In this descriptive study, 84 patients with trigeminal neuralgia pain were studied. Patients were diagnosed based on their medical histories, physical examination, and paraclinical tests. Patients are admitted according to internationally accepted criteria such as the International Headache Society (IHS). The patients responded to the questions in the questionnaire before and after the surgery. In this questionnaire, the pain level of patients is assessed by the Visual Analogue Pain Scale (VAS). Results: The mean pain score before treatment was 7. 87, which decreased to 4. 83 after the treatment. According to the results obtained in this study, 18 patients (21. 4%) felt 4 levels of decrease in pain, as the predominant level of relief. Also, 15 patients (17. 9%) did not feel any subtraction of pain after the treatment. Of the 84 patients, only 1 patient experienced the reduction of pain as 9 levels of VAS, after the treatment. There was a significant relationship (P=0. 000) between the pain severity and the reduction in the amount of pain after the RF in respect to the amount before the treatment. Also, in the regression equation obtained from the study of the effects and role of patients’ age, gender, as well as the history of pain in patients before the RF treatment, only the gender of the patients had a significant relationship with the amount of pain reduction and comparison of its pre and post treatment. (P=0. 054) and (B=-0. 886) and (β =-0. 216). Also, there was no significant relationship between pain intensity (P=0. 761), age of patients (P=0. 829), or history of pain (P=0. 139) with pain reduction and comparison of pain intensity before and after RF treatment. During the treatment of RF, very few side effects was reported. Conclusion: According to the results, RF treatment is an effective method for reducing pain in both short-term and long-term pain, in patients with trigeminal neuralgia. It is suggested that in patients suffering from the pain resulting caused by trigeminal neuralgia, due to drug resistance or who are intolerance to possible adverse effects, or in patients with lack of response from drug therapy, the therapeutic approach of RF is a valuable way for pain relief.
